Responsible for the organizational structure development and the improvement of rules and regulations of IPPO;

Presiding over Council meetings;

Proposing candidates for special procedure mandates and expert mechanisms, to be appointed by the Council;

Appointing experts to serve in investigative bodies; this is achieved through ad hoc consultations and outreach with various stakeholders to identify highly qualified and impartial candidates;

Receiving and responding to correspondence from permanent missions and other actors; and

Building awareness and trust in the IPPO Council through outreach and diplomacy.
