IPPO, Doha： The Second United Nations World Summit for Social Development was grandly held from November 4 to 6, 2025, in Doha Qatar. During the summit, the exhibition titled "Patriotic Ideology and Social Development: Transcending National Boundaries with a Bond of Responsibility" hosted by the International Patriotic Pact Organization (Shaanxi Patriotic Volunteer Association), attracted 88 institutions from 32 countries around the world to sign up and join forces in promoting social responsibility practices centered around the International Patriotic Pact.

With the theme of "Transcending National Boundaries with a Bond of Responsibility," this exhibition advanced the integration of the International Patriotic Pact with global social development goals through thematic displays of the International Patriotic Pact initiative, interactive promotions, and signing ceremonies. During the exhibition, representatives from many organizations with special consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council pointed out in their exchanges, "Patriotism should transcend national borders and drive global common prosperity through shared responsibilities. This exhibition provides a cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary cooperation model for the international community."

The 88 institutions that signed up to support the International Patriotic Pact initiative at this exhibition boasted a diverse lineup, including government agencies, UN bodies, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, academic institutions, and enterprises, with a geographical spread across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. Among them, the signing by members of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP),UNESCO, UNIDO drew widespread attention. Bilal Diab said, "The spirit of patriotism is highly in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. I will make personal efforts to facilitate the practice of the International Patriotic Pact and promote the construction of a global community of shared responsibility."

In addition, government agencies such as the Syrian Ministry of Housing, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Central African Republic, Ministry of Planing and International cooperation, Ministry of Gender youth and social development and the Youth Parliament of Pakistan, as well as non-governmental organizations from countries like the Rural Development Organization (with special consultative status of UN ECOSOC in 2012) and the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries (with special consultative status of UN ECOSOC in 2018), all signed the pact. Africa stood out, with over 40 institutions including Congo Connexion, the Nigerian Naija Diaspora Homes, and the Uganda Ziinesaif’s Foundation joining, highlighting Africa's recognition of the International Patriotic Pact initiative and its emphasis on international social responsibility.

In the Asian region, organizations such as the Nepal United Creative Society, the Bangladesh Labor Federation implemented the pact's concepts through cultural innovation and educational projects. In Europe, institutions like International Federation for Sustainability and Justice, Peace Lab International, contributed from the perspectives of peace protection and human rights.

Youth- and women-led institutions emerged as the main force in signing up at this exhibition. Organizations such as the Youths Enterprise Development & Innovation Society, the Youth Action Council Foundation, focused on employment and economic empowerment; while institutions like the Women Initiative for Values Empowerment and sustainability international (with special consultative status of the UN in 2023), the International Centre for Women Empowerment and Child Development (with special consultative status of the UN in 2017), and the Voice of Hers promoted gender equality and child protection.

The representative of the Youth Parliament of Pakistan emphasized at the signing ceremony, "Youth are the drivers of change. Patriotic spirit needs to be translated into concrete actions, such as solving community problems through technological innovation."

The signing institutions also covered cutting-edge fields including education, technology, and environmental protection. Invasion Stars International School incorporated patriotic education into its curriculum; Green Engagement Limited contributed to carbon neutrality through clean energy projects.

A representative from the Doha Institute in Qatar pointed out, "The International Patriotic Pact is not just a declaration of values but also a tool to solve practical problems through technological empowerment."

The Initiators of the International Patriotic Pact Organization took photos with the signing representatives respectively. At the end of the exhibition, they announced plans to establish an "International Patriotic Fund," promote the construction of the "IPPO Nation’s Rights to Development Review Mechanism," regularly release the Nation’s Rights to Development Report, and support the implementation of projects by the signing institutions. They called, "Let us take patriotism as a link and gather the patriotic forces scattered around the world into a force that can change the world."

This exhibition marks a crucial step forward in the international community's consensus on practicing "global responsibility" through the International Patriotic Pact . With the participation of 88 institutions, a global responsibility network centered around the concept of international patriotism is gradually taking shape, injecting new impetus into the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. (By Li Shihui)
