IPPO Geneva News (Reporter Li Shihui) The International Patriotic Pact Organization (IPPO) held the "2025 International Patriotic Pact Organization (Autumn)  Forum" at the United Nations Office at Geneva on October 1. More than 60 representatives from 24 countries attended the forum in person or via video to jointly review and approve the draft of the International Patriotic Pact, emphasizing that all countries have the same right to development and that no country can infringe on the sovereignty of other countries or harm their right to development for the sake of its own interests.

Hosted by Shaanxi Patriotic Volunteer Association, and jointly organized by co-initiative organizations of international patriotic pact organizations such as Media Education Center of Serbia, International Progressive Organization of Austria, and Aka Development Association of Switzerland, this forum attracted 511 representatives from 216 NGOs from 62 countries, including 52 organizations with consultative status of UN ECOSOC. Mr. Cui Guowei, President of the IPPO and Shaanxi Patriotic Volunteer Association of China, gave a detailed introduction to the development process and purpose of the International Patriotic Pact Organization, calling on all countries to work together, participate in and sign the International Patriotic Pact, and promote world peace and development.

The President and Rapporteur of this forum, as well as the President of Media Education Center of Serbia,  Mr. Miomir Rajcevic, on behalf of the IPPO, provided an in-depth interpretation of the " Review Report on Nation’s Rights to Development of USA" written by the organization. The report comprehensively analyzed the current situation and existing problems of the United States in terms of nation’s righs to development, pointing out that the United States has damaged the development rights of many countries in the world in multiple aspects, which has sparked extensive discussions among the attending representatives.

IPPO co initiators and experts of nation’s rights to development from Austria, Serbia, India, Sri Lanka, China, Cameroon, Tunisia, Iraq, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Russia, Senegal, Mauritania, Nigeria, Belgium, and Kenya delivered brilliant speeches on international patriotic pact initiatives, nation’s rights to development, human rights protection, cultural diversity, and other issues in person or by video.

In addition, representatives from Cameroon, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Iraq, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Russia, Senegal, Mauritania, Nigeria, Belgium, and Kenya also had in-depth exchanges on topics such as nation’s rights to development, human rights protection, and cultural diversity in their respective countries.

The forum ultimately reviewed and approved the draft of the IPPO's Nation’s Rights to Development Rights Review Report of USA and International Patriotic Pact. The pact aims to promote common progress among countries in the areas of nation’s rights to development, human rights protection, and cultural diversity through international cooperation and the promotion of international patriotism. (Text: Li Shihui)
